Husband treats woman to ‘Spar day’ at local shop – but it’s way better than it sounds
He decided to mark their wedding anniversary by surprising her with the meal, in a quiet corner of the tiny store in Pwllheli, Gwynedd.
Starters consisted of a Kinder Surprise egg each – the same tasty treat Dyfed first used to woo Bethan, 39.
The teaching assistant even roped in their three children to serve as waiters.
Dyfed said: “It came as a massive shock to her, but a good one.”
