Hunt for predator who dragged schoolgirl, 15, into garden and sexually assaulted her after pouncing on her as she walked home

• He sexually assaulted her but she managed to run away before calling police
• West Yorkshire Police released image of a man believed to be in area at the time

Police hunting a sex attacker who pounced on a 15-year-old girl in the street and assaulted her have released a photo of man they want to speak to.

The schoolgirl was walking home through Bradford, West Yorkshire, when a man grabbed and kissed her before dragging her into a nearby garden and assaulting her. 

The attack happened at around 11.10pm on March 25 in the east of the city.

West Yorkshire Police are appealing for help finding a man who was near to the scene of a sexual assault in Bradford on March 25

The teenager managed to get away and ran home where she called police.

West Yorkshire Police officers probing the incident have now released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to.

It is believed he was in the area at the time of the sexual assault. 

Police enquiries into the incident are ongoing. 

A spokesperson for the force said: ‘Police in Bradford are appealing for information following a sexual assault. 

The incident happened at around 11.10pm on March 25 on St Mary’s Road in the east of the West Yorkshire city

‘The female victim who is 15-year-old, was walking home when a man approached her.

‘The male suspect grabbed the victim, he kissed her and then pulled her into a nearby garden and sexually assaulted her.

‘The teenager managed to get away and ran home where she called the police.’
