Humiliating rules Adam Johnson will have to follow as registered sex offender after prison release next week

FORMER Sunderland star Adam Johnson must sign the Sex Offenders’ Register within 72 hours of his release from jail next week – or risk being banged up  for another three years.

He will have to report in person to his local police station.

The former footballer will be freed on licence later this month after serving half of a six-year jail term for sex offences against a besotted underage fan.

Details of the rules came as Johnson's ex Stacey Flounders, 29, broke her silence and told how his lying destroyed their relationship, and her life.

Any breaches of the terms of his release mean he could be returned to prison to serve the balance of the six-year sentence.

That means the fallen former England star won’t be able to take sister Faye, parents David and Sonia, his young daughter Ayla or the friends who have stood by him away on holiday without humiliatingly informing police of his plans.

He’s even got to give details of any child who stays in his house overnight.

He must tell officers seven days in advance of any foreign travel, give details of his destination, any onward travel to another country and duration of stay.

Officers can veto a trip if they believe there is a risk of further offences taking place.

He must also reveal details of cash at his disposal and inform police if anyone aged under 18 plans to stay overnight at his house in County Durham.

Last night a source revealed: “The reality is that Johnson will be on Sex Offenders’ Register and that means he must inform the police if he wants to go abroad.

STACEY SPEAKS OUT

“He’s even got to give details of any child who stays in his house overnight.

"He’s been talking about getting away somewhere warm like Spain so he can relax and play some golf.”

The former Sunderland star is set to be released from Doncaster's Moorland jail.

It is unlikely the player, who is 32 in July, will ever play professional football again.

Brave Stacey, mum of his baby girl Ayla, said she was so disgusted to finally learn the truth about her partner that she aborted their second child.

In an exclusive interview with the Sun on Sunday she said: "I couldn't bring another baby into the world."

Stacey also told how Johnson went "white with fear" when cops raided his mansion in Castle Eden, County Durham.

She stood by him but later dumped him after hearing the full shattering truth on the first day of his trial.

She went on: "I realised who Adam really was – an arrogant man who lied and lied to me. It destroyed me.
