"A black Audi A1 was taken after a woman was attacked with a hammer. She was taken to hospital with injuries to her head and eye. They are not thought to be life-threatening."
ROAD TO RECOVERY
A fundraiser has now been set up for Blythe to help her with her recovery with a target of £1,000.
The fundraiser states: "On the evening of the 19th March 2019 Blythe left the gym at the Wheatsheaf just before 9pm.
"She went to get in her car and was attacked by two males with a hammer, she was beaten round the head and has been left with a broken eye socket and a bleed to the head.
"This poor girl does not want to drive anymore or leave the house. Please help with a donation so this young girl can carry on, as at the moment she can't work for no fault of her own."
The photos have been shared over 17,000 times and have left many people outraged.
Marlon Harrison said: “It’s got to the stage where its not worth having anything nice to beat a lady like this is terrible. They need a good hiding!”
Dawn Adams added: “Oh my god Blythe. So sorry to see this. I hope there was CCTV in the car park so the thieving b******* can be caught. Take care and sending a big hug your way.”
Warren Wozza Willis wrote: “Sick b*******! What the f*** is wrong with people, cowards attacking a woman, I’m a true believer in karma, what goes around comes around, hope you feel better soon.”
Nikki Patricia said: “This is awful and literally right by my house! Wishing you a speedy recovery and I really hope they find the scumbags.
"My mum was carjacked only a few weeks ago on her drive again round the corner! I know the gym has CCTV in the car park.”
