‘Hollywood Ripper’ Michael Gargiulo convicted of killing Ashton Kutcher’s gal pal

“Hollywood Ripper” Michael Gargiulo on Thursday was convicted of fatally stabbing two young women, including Ashton Kutcher’s then-gal pal in 2001.

It took three days of deliberations for a Los Angeles jury to find Gargiulo, 43, guilty of stabbing 21-year-old Ashley Ellerin 47 times in her Hollywood Hills home, as she got ready for a night on the town with Kutcher.

The “That ’70s Show” star, now 41, testified in May that he went to Ellerin’s home to pick her up for their date to a post-Grammy Awards party — and saw what he thought were wine stains through a window.

Thinking he’d “screwed up” by showing up a little late, Kutcher left, only to later learn that his gal pal had been murdered.

“I remember the next day after I heard about what happened and I went to the detectives and said, ‘My fingerprints were on the door’ and I was freaking out,” said Kutcher, who is now married to his “That ‘70s Show” co-star Mila Kunis.

The jury also found Gargiulo guilty of the 2005 slaying of 32-year old Maria Bruno in her El Monte home, and of the 2008 attempted murder of Michelle Murphy, who fought him off in her Santa Monica apartment.

Prosecutors described the onetime aspiring actor as a “stone-cold serial killer who preys on women,” ambushing victims in a series of calculated attacks.

He could face the death penalty at the final phase of the trial on Tuesday, when jurors will determine whether Gargiulo was sane at the time of the murders.

Gargiulo is also awaiting a separate trial in Illinois for the Aug. 14, 1993 slaying of 18-year-old Tricia Pacaccio, who was the sister of one of his friends.
