Holly Willoughby and TV executive husband Dan Baldwin are embarking on their ninth building project in seven years at their £3 million London home, MailOnline can reveal.
The ‘This Morning’ host wants to convert a garage at her property into a one bedroom flat to accommodate an au pair to look after her three children.
The 38-year-old presenter wants to add a second story to an existing brick-built garage at the end of her garden in London, documents lodged with her local council reveal.
The latest development is the 13th planning application Holly and her husband have made since buying their four-storey, six bedroom family home for £2.8million in 2012.
Nine of their applications have been to carry out building work and alterations on the property while a further four have been to prune trees in their garden.
The couple’s biggest project was three years ago when they were given permission to excavate and build a basement for their six-bedroom home.
Of their latest plans, architect Brian O’ Reilly said: ‘Currently the existing building consists of a small garage and poorly lit adjoining room.

‘We propose to transform the existing building, providing functional, naturally lit accommodation for a live-in au pair.
‘The existing structure would be maximised through the addition of a second floor, largely hidden behind the existing parapet walls. ‘
The new studio will have an en-suite bathroom and benefit from natural light from three dormer windows.
The architect emphasises that the windows will look towards the main house and not into any neighbouring gardens.
Residents in a neighbouring street have been advised of the plans (pictured) for the studio flat, but so far none have objected

Three years ago the star clashed with their well-to-do neighbours over plans for a first and second floor rear extension.
Several residents living in a mansion block of flats objected to the plans complaining the extension would look out of place and set a precedent for others to follow.
One of those who objected Julie Halstead, wrote: ‘As my home looks directly into the tower – a two-storey extension would mean that I will be much more overlooked with loss of privacy.’
Planners threw out the application and an appeal by the star against the council’s decision was dismissed by a Government planning inspector.
Six years ago, Holly and husband of 12 years were accused of ‘keeping the neighbourhood up with drunken behaviour’ in an anonymous letter delivered to the their home.

Holly is one of the country’s best-loved faces on TV as she hosts ITV’s ‘This Morning’ alongside Philip Schofield (pictured) and filled in for Ant McPartlin on last year’s ‘I’m a Celebrity….’
Mr Baldwin, 44, reacted angrily by emailing 50 neighbours, many of whom the couple had never met, seeking help in tracking down the letter-writer.
He denied creating any such noise, saying he and Miss Willoughby were watching Nashville – a US drama set in the world of country music – and that they wanted ‘an explanation’ from their critic.
And to assist their hunt, Mr Baldwin attached two images of the woman who delivered the letter, obtained from the CCTV cameras bristling from his luxury home.
Holly has become one of the best loved presenters on TV thanks to her partnership with Philip Schofield.
Last year she stood in for Ant McPartlin on ‘I’m a celebrity’ after he dropped out to continue his recovery following a drink drive conviction.
Holly was a huge hit with viewers with many saying they preferred her on screen partnership with Declan Donnelly to that with his absent partner.
Planners are expected to make a decision on their latest plans next month.
