Prince Harry fans have been left heartbroken after seeing his dramatic hair loss as they claim it's left him looking "like a toffee apple" with hair stuck on it.

The Duke of Sussex was seen entering Westminster Abbey for the Coronation of his father King Charles III and his stepmother Queen Camilla this morning (May 6).

He appeared without his wife Meghan Markle and entered behind Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, who were with their husbands.

Medals pinned to his chest, Harry then marched solemnly down the Abbey by himself, stopping briefly to flash a smile and speak to someone else in the audience on the way to his seat.

But while the BBC cameras were on him, he was filmed from above, showing the bald patch at the back of his head.

The 38-year-old royal redhead shocked fans who believed he has lost more hair since he was seen at the funeral of his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II last year.

Fans immediately took to Twitter claiming the look has left him "looking like a toffee apple in a barber shop" with many suggesting he should give in and shave it off.

A user joked: "Someone needs to tell Prince Harry to shave his head, he looks like someone’s kicked a toffee apple around a barber shop floor."

Another quipped: "Prince Harry has got to be the biggest bald denier ever. On a par with that lad who works in the Wetherspoons in Leeds train station."

A third suggested: "The bald and bearded look would work for Prince Harry."

Other devastated fans were struck by how "aged" he looked as a result of the hair loss as they took to social media to mourn the loss of his ginger hair.

One user wrote: "Is that the light or is #PrinceHarry getting hair loss too?! Camera angle from above reveals everything."

Another commented: "#PrinceHarry has aged a lot. Still "Hats off" for doing what is right and just for #KingsCoronation."
