Harry had to grin and bear Royal life and said it was ‘like being in a zoo’
Prince Harry had to "grin and bear" Royal life in his 20s and constantly felt like he was being watched in a zoo, the Duke of Sussex told Armchair Expert podcast host Dax Shepherd.
Meghan Markle’s husband appeared on actor Dax’s Shepherd’s podcast to talk about the "messiness of being human."
In the episode, Harry said he felt freer living in California and even spoke on the secrecy around his relationship with Meghan in the early days.
The Duke of Sussex also swore on the audio recording and later, sensationally revealed that he had to "grin and bear" Royal life because it was "the job."
Prince Harry told Dax he was in his "early 20s" when he realised he didn't want to be a senior member of the Royal Family.
He added that he didn't want to be "here" at all, and it wasn't until he met Meghan Markle and went to therapy that he realised how he truly felt.

Prince Charles' son said: "It's the job right? Grin and bear it. Get on with it.
"I was in my early 20s and I was thinking I don't want this job, I don't want to be here. I don't want to be doing this."
Harry went on to say the Royal lifestyle his mum had was not one that he wanted for himself.

He said: "Look what it did to my mum. How am I ever going to settle down and have a wife and family, when I know it's going to happen again?"
Prince Harry said that going to therapy was like a "bubble" being burst, and he "plucked his head out of the sand" and realised he was in a place of "privilege."
Instead, Harry sought to do things "differently," and with Meghan by his side they attempted to do that until the couple decided to step down.
The Duke of Sussex said: "And then once I started doing therapy it was like the bubble was burst.
"I plucked my head out of the sand and gave it a good shake off and I was like, You're in this position of privilege, stop complaining and stop thinking you want something different — make this different — because you can't get out."
