Prince Harry gatecrashed Meghan Markle's well-anticipated interview in a casual outfit and bare feet.

The Duke of Sussex decided to greet Hollywood reporter Allison P Davis as she stepped inside their Californian home.

Alison, who came to interview the Duchess for The Cut, was taken aback by his seemingly-normal outfit which consisted of shorts and a T-shirt.

Describing the moment she anxiously braced herself to meet Harry, she said: "Meghan’s Harry, or 'H', as she calls him in anecdotes, or 'my love', as she refers to him when he’s standing in front of her, as he is now in navy-blue athletic shorts, a T-shirt, and no shoes, has appeared from somewhere in the house to say hello.

"I stand up, instantly understanding the confusion Meghan must have felt when she first met the Royal Family.

"Am I supposed to shake his hand, or bow, or curtsy, or salute? Do I call him Prince Harry, the Royal Formerly Known As Prince, Ex-Prince Harry, the Duke, Sir, Mr. — wait, does he have a last name? As if to pre-empt any attempts I might make at curtsying, Harry extends his hand to shake mine and welcomes me to their home.

"It’s very beautiful, I assure him, not calling him anything at all.

“We’re fixing all these things, the pipes, but that’s a whole story in itself,” Harry explained to Alison.

During the interview, Meghan got candid with the reporter as she spoke about her time as part of The Firm.

"I’m like, so excited to talk," she said.

The former Suits star proceeded to touch on forgiveness between herself and the Royal Family.

“I think forgiveness is really important. It takes a lot more energy to not forgive,” the mum added. “But it takes a lot of effort to forgive. I’ve really made an active effort, especially knowing that I can say anything.

“I have a lot to say until I don’t. Do you like that? Sometimes, as they say, the silent part is still part of the song.”

The Sussexes dramatically announced they were quitting their lives as senior royals in January 2020 to move to the US.

Their relationship with other royals became more strained after the pair made several damaging accusations against the firm including allegations of racism.

The shocking tell-all also revealed the ins and outs of a feud with Kate Middleton and even spoke about being trapped by the institution.
