Harrowing moment thug is heard 'strangling' pregnant ex while telling her to get an abortion as she begs him to stop
THIS is the chilling moment a thug throttled his pregnant girlfriend as he branded her a "f***ing slut" and told her to get an abortion.
Leah Collard was mentally and physically abused by her ex David Rhys Williams in a six-year nightmare ordeal.
The 29-year-old was banned from seeing her friends, regularly called a "fat ugly c***" and was savagely attacked by the brute.
On one occasion, Leah managed to secretly record Williams apparently strangling her after the pair rowed on New Year's Eve 2013 while she was pregnant.
Terrified Leah can be heard screaming "get off me, get the f**k off me" as the thug laughs in the background, Wales Online reports.
She then cries: "Don’t do that to me – I am pregnant. You will make me have a miscarriage with your f***ing child. You want to kill your child do you?"
'I DON'T GIVE A FUCK'
But callous Williams says: "Who gives a f***? Who would want a baby with you? You are a f***ing slut.”
Leah, from the Vale of Glamorgan, then confronts the monster and threatens to call police.
When the abuse continues, she says: "You just strangled me. Get out the house you f***ing woman beater. I am getting my son away from you.”
Williams then tells her to get an abortion and accused Leah of "pushing me and pushing me".
He adds: "Do you know what happens to people who laugh at me? End up in hospital with life-changing surgery. I don’t give a f***. That is who I am.”
Leah and Williams began a relationship in May 2013 with the yob banning her from seeing her friends just one month in.
'YOU CAN'T LIVE YOUR OWN LIFE'
The mum was even forced to take pictures to prove she was at work and made her move to a car home for her job so she would be in the same place every day.
She said she "hoped he would change" and was too petrified to leave because Williams told her he would kill himself.
Leah added: "It is hard because when someone is controlling you it is like you can’t live your own life. You’ve lived your life through them for so long that you just don’t know what to do.
“They can make you scared of them but also completely dependent on them.”
'I GET REALLY NERVOUS STILL'
But the turning point finally came when social services threatened to take her children away because the relationship had been flagged as "high risk".
Williams eventually pleaded guilty to assault by beating and using threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause Leah harassment, alarm or distress.
He was fined a total of £369 and ordered to pay £100 in compensation to Leah along with a victim surcharge of £30 and prosecution costs of £85.
Williams was also slapped with a two-year restraining order preventing him from contacting Leah.
She is now trying to move on with her life but fears bumping into Williams on the street.
Leah said: "I am fed up of just being this horrible little victim.
“I walk around but when I am in Barry visiting my family I get really nervous that I will see people who know him and they might do something.
“I don’t want this anymore. I want people to understand how he treated me. I want people to understand what I went through.”
