Harlem teacher busted for sexting four teen girls

A Harlem charter-school teacher was busted last week for allegedly sexting four teenage girls, The Post has learned.

Jeffery Bryant, 26, was arrested Tuesday night on charges he sent “sexually explicit” videos and photos to two 14-year-old girls and two 13-year-old girls over four months, police said.

Bryant is a middle-school teacher at Democracy Prep Endurance in Harlem, a high-ranking police source said. According to his Facebook page, he holds a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies.

He is due in court Monday, state criminal records show.

He faces five charges of disseminating indecent computer material to minors and four counts of acting in a manner injurious to a child.

A student at the school reported the texts Tuesday, and the charter immediately fired Bryant and called the cops, a spokesman said.

“As soon as we heard from one of our students about an inappropriate text communication last Tuesday, we brought Bryant into our Network Office, fired him immediately and then turned him over to the police who took him away in handcuffs on Tuesday night,” a rep for the school told The Post. “Mr. Bryant did pass a criminal background check when he was hired in August of 2018.”

Neither Bryant nor his lawyer could not be reached for comment.
