Groovy family home ‘frozen in the 1970s’ now on the market for first time
A quirky family home with a unique interior design scheme is on the market for the very first time, and if you're a fan of the 1970s it could be perfect for you.
The property, located on Croasdale Drive in Parbold, West Lancashire, has recently come on the market with Regan and Hallworth estate agents.
Described by the agents as "a mid-century home in one of West Lancashire's most sought after village locations", the property was specially designed – making it one of a kind.
Despite needing "extensive modernisation", the current house feels like a time capsule which would no doubt appeal to fans of the era and its fashions.

It's already proving popular with house hunters who are eager to own a unique home in one of Parbold's most sought after locations, reports the Liverpool Echo.
Approaching the property from the lane outside, the house is perched at the top of a small hill and a set of stone steps leading up to the quirky glass box frontage.
Stepping inside, the design scheme looks like something off a film set that's been perfectly constructed to capture the 1970s.
Orange sofas and wooden wall units are surrounded by brown walls and a thick shag carpet, while elsewhere, psychedelic patterns cover the dining table.
Period light fittings and brass panelling are complimented by earth-toned ornaments that are typically 70s in their style.
The kitchen looks like it's come straight from the pages of a 1970s cook book, with frosted glass panelling, white units and earth-toned plates used to decorate the walls.
With retro styles and vintage shopping more en vogue than ever before, this frozen in time home is almost so dated that's come right back into fashion again.
A dark marble effect bathroom with gold taps and a gold shower head is also typical of the era.
A listing uploaded to Regan and Hallworth's website says: "We don't believe that 'Beech Hill' has ever been on the open market before and offers an incredibly rare opportunity for a wide range of buyers to purchase a home of true distinction with tons of potential without having to pay the huge premium you normally expect to pay to live in one of West Lancashires most sought after locations.
"Available with the added benefit of no upward chain, early viewing is highly recommended."
On the market for offers in the region of £400,000, the property has three bedrooms and one main bathroom.
