Chanel Acheampong, a member of the group of 13, said they had been ‘treated like animals’ forced to sleep on the airport floor for two days.
She shared video footage showing how her nephew with a heart condition suffered multiple attacks in the stifling heat.
But while he was put on a repatriation flight on Tuesday, the rest of the family are stuck – and running out of time for her niece.
Chanel Acheampong spoke of how she and her eight family members, including her diabetic niece, were still suck in Gran Canaria
Ms Acheampong, from Basildon, Essex, told ITV: ‘I have a niece [with type one diabetes] with half an insulin vial, which will only last her until tomorrow.
‘If it comes to it we’d have to call an ambulance. We need to get home – she needs her medication.’
EasyJet, with which they are flying, said: ‘We are truly sorry for the experience of Chanel and her family.
‘We are in contact with her and working on options to get them home as soon as we can.’
