Girl, 11, makes frantic 911 call to report mom 'being killed by stepdad as suspect fired gun throughout the house'
A YOUNG girl frantically called 911 to report her mom being killed by her stepdad as he fired his gun throughout their home, cops say.
Mac Lewis is accused of shooting his wife, Elizabeth Bennett Lewis, in front of the woman's daughter and her friend.
“Multiple gunshots were found throughout several rooms and areas in the residence,” according to the Clarks County Sheriff’s Office.
“The initial 911 caller of this incident was Ms Lewis’s child; she had called while Mac Lewis was still actively firing his gun throughout the
house and ultimately shooting and killing her mother.”
Police said the 11-year-old daughter and her 10-year-old friend "were inside the house and in close proximity to Lewis during the shooting."
Lewis is not the girl's biological father, cops said.
