Fury as tiny flat ‘smaller than prison cell’ on market to rent for £390-a-month
A tiny flat with the bed just inches from kitchen sink has been slammed as "smaller than a jail cell".
Renters who do not mind a tight squeeze are expected to cough up £390 a month for a minuscule flat which does not even have its own bathroom.
Whoever chooses to rent the space will have to share a bathroom with others in the building despite it being fitted with a kitchen.
A Twitter user shared photos of the tight property in in Kensington, London which is the size of a small bedroom with the added bonus of kitchen appliances.
They wrote: "Randomly browsing apartments on Zoopla for no reason and I came across this. London housing is such a joke."
The flat which appears to consist pretty much of a furnished cramped corridor, is described online as a "bedsit situated within a large Victorian house".
At only an arm's reach from the bed is a small plug-in hob, sink, microwave and fridge leaving little need to take more than two steps.
What does require more of a walk however is heading to the loo.

The property was first listed in November with a six month contract but it has struggled to attract renters.
It is listed on Zoopla as being ideal for students and professionals who would like a car parking space and easy access to various shops, gyms, and restaurants.
It may be small but at least it is "excellently situated" between West Kensington and Baron's Court, according to the estate agents and easy to reach the M4, A40, A4 and Heathrow Airport.
