One of the UK's top intensive care docs has sensationally hit out at the nation's Covidiots – claiming anyone who is still not wearing masks this far into the pandemic "has blood on their hands".
Prof Hugh Montgomery, a consultant at University College Hospital in London, was speaking on Times Radio when he insisted the government cannot solely be to blame for the recent spike in coronavirus infections and deaths.
"We can't blame the Government, we can't blame the Tier system. This is people behaving badly. I'm just very angry about this," he said.
"If we were wearing masks, washing hands, this virus would not be as it is.
"'Anyone who doesn't wear their mask – they have blood on their hands."
There have been plenty of famous faces who have been caught without their face masks this year, including Gary Lineker and Piers Morgan, and it's not uncommon to still see people wearing them incorrectly in shops and on public transport.

Prof Montgomery is not the only doctor who has vented their frustration at the current status of the UK's battle against Covid-19.

NHS faces 'horrendous choices over who lives and dies' as hospitals stretched
Hospitals in Essex have already declared a major incident due to a huge spike in hospitalisations, with NHS trusts in London and the Home Counties also struggling to deal with the huge rise in cases.
Gareth Grier, an A&E consultant at Barts Health NHS Trust in east London, tweeted: "If Covid patients are left in corridors then Covid will spread like wildfire within the hospital.
"This cannot be allowed to happen. The corridor medicine that was previously endemic in emergency departments would kill people (and staff) if allowed to reoccur.
"Hence the awful, terrible option of treating patients outside hospitals."
