Full list of New Look stores set to close for good across UK this month
Popular fashion brand New Look is closing down a number of its outlets across the UK as part of what the company calls “the normal course of business”.
The New Look stores that will be closing include shops in London, the Midlands, and central Scotland.
Already this year the chain has lost two of its outlets in Birmingham, as well as shutting stores in Trowbridge, Coventry and Walthamstow, in London.

The closures of New Look stores in Kirkcaldy and Northampton’s Grosvenor Centre are both expected in the coming week.
A company spokesperson told the Mirror: “As part of the normal course of business, New Look occasionally closes sites, but also opens new stores when the right opportunities arise.
"While a small number of stores have closed in recent months, our most recent new openings were in November 2022 and we have plans for further openings in the first half of this year.”
The full list of 2023's closures is as follows:
- Birmingham, Fort Shopping Park – January 9
- Trowbridge – January 23
- Coventry – January 29
- Birmingham, Bullring – January 30
- Walthamstow, London – February 4
- Grosvenor Centre, Northampton – February 15
- Kirkcaldy- early February
New Look stressed that it had also opened two new stores towards the end of last year and is planning to open a further four in 2023.

Marking the closure of the Coventry store, on January 29, a sign was placed in the window telling customers: "This store is now closed. But we're never too far away. Visit us in our Coventry City Centre and Nuneaton stores and shop online at newlook.com.”
A company spokesman said: “Regrettably, our New Look store in Coventry's Arena Shopping Park is closing following the landlord's request to take the property back and exit the lease early.
"We are now focusing on supporting our affected store colleagues and finding suitable alternative roles for them within the business wherever possible. We have loved being part of the local community and we would like to thank all of our customers in the local area.”
