‘Frisky’ Prince Philip would ‘chase Queen upstairs like they were teenagers’
Prince Philip and the Queen acted like 'teenagers' and kept their 'spark alive' during their marriage, a royal expert has claimed.
It's reported Prince Philip would get 'frisky' and chase Her Majesty 'up the stairs' during romantic getaways even after they had their children.
Royal author Robert Johnson said the loved-up pair had a "chemistry which was always there".
The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh spent their wedding night at the home of Philip's uncle, Earl Mountbatten on November 20, 1947.
They often returned for overnight visits and later with their children.
By 1960, they had their three children – before Prince Edward was born – and the spark was still alight, claims the author.
“There was a story, even after they had three children -maybe even four – they used to regularly go down to Broadlands where they honeymooned, and there was a butler there who used to work for Mountbatten, and he said it was all very frisky when they were down there," he told host Omid Scobie, pal to Meghan Markle.
“This butler said that the Queen would be running up the stairs and he’d be chasing her up the stairs like teenagers.
