Former cop busted after violating ex-girlfriend’s protection order

A former NYPD detective who poured urine on her ex-girlfriend’s door has been arrested again — for violating an order of protection in the case, police said Friday.

Police Officer Lori Campbell, 52 — a former aide to Chief of Department Terence Monahan who was demoted from detective after her first arrest — was cuffed Friday at 10:45 a.m. and charged with criminal contempt of court for violating an order of protection involving her ex-girlfriend, officials said.

The ex-gal pal got a restraining order against Campbell after the then-detective stalked and harassed her for eight months, even using an NYPD database to conduct searches on her and her new husband, prosecutors said after her July 2018 arrest.

In July, Campbell was charged with stalking, official misconduct, menacing, making graffiti, intimidating a witness and criminal mischief and was suspended.

An NYPD rep said Friday, “Generally, a criminal case is allowed to be resolved before departmental disciplinary matters commence. This ensures that the criminal case, particularly one where there is a victim of a crime, is not jeopardized, and, equally important, that the victim is not needlessly traumatized by being forced to repeatedly testify.

“The criminal case on the previous arrest is still pending. Actions on the arrest from today will follow the same schedule.”
