First pics of mum-of-three stabbed to death ‘in front of her three children’
Tributes have poured in for a mum-of-three who was found stabbed to death in her home as she was pictured for the first time.
The body of Nepalese native Suvekshya Burathoki, who was also known as Fatima, was found on Tuesday in Bartholomew Street, Leicester.
Police are still hunting for her killer and appealing for anyone with any information to help with the murder probe and say officers are pursuing multiple lines of enquiry.
A post-mortem found the mum sustained multiple stab wounds in the attack, Leicestershire Live reports.
It is understood her two sons are aged between seven and nine, and her daughter is around three-years-old.
Lead investigator, detective inspector Mark Sinski said: “We know that Fatima was subjected to a horrific attack in her own home.

"The person who violently attacked her then left the address.
“To date, a number of people who live in and around Bartholomew Street have been spoken to by detectives, who are continuing to pursue a number of lines of enquiry.
“I would like to reassure people living in Bartholomew Street – and the surrounding area – that I believe this was an isolated incident.”
DI Sinski added: “As I have said before, we owe it to Fatima and her family to find the person responsible and bring them to justice.
Friend and neighbour Eelize Jones, 29, was sent a selfie by the 32-year-old, who had two young sons and a young daughter.

The children are understood to have been at home at the time of the fatal attack, which has led to a murder probe being launched.
Eelize described Fatima as "adorable".
The young mum added: “Her daughter was besotted with her, as were her two boys. She loved everybody and would do anything for anybody.

A single floral tribute has been placed outside the house.
