FBI and police ask for public’s help in identifying Thornton bank robber.
The FBI and Thornton police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a bank robber.
The robbery happened about 4:15 p.m. Thursday at Key Bank, 3505 E. 104th Ave., according to a news release.
The robber gave a demand note to a teller threatening that he was armed, but a weapon was not seen, according to the release. The robber fled in a U-Haul pickup.

The robber is described as a Latino man in his late 20s to early 30s, about 5-foot-7 with facial hair or facial tattoos. He was wearing a white Denver Nuggets hat, sunglasses, dark-colored bandanna around his neck, an orange construction-style jacket, blue jeans and construction boots.
Anyone with information on the robbery or a suspect is asked to call the FBI at 303-629-7171 or Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 (STOP).
