Elon Musk ‘microdoses ketamine’ and ‘takes full doses when partying’
Elon Musk allegedly "microdoses" ketamine to manage depression and takes full doses of the drug when attending parties.
The Tesla and Twitter CEO is said to be a user of the hallucinogenic drug, which can be acquired in the United States through a medical professional in controlled doses, in a report by the Wall Street Journal.
Musk, 51, is believed to microdose the drug, taking small amounts of the anaesthetic more commonly used as a horse tranquiliser on a regular basis.

He has since tweeted out his support for the drug as a "better option" for treating depression, although has not confirmed or denied his own personal use.
The tech entrepreneur tweeted: "Zombifying people with SSRIs [antidepressants] for sure happens way too much. From what I’ve seen with friends, ketamine taken occasionally is a better option."
The report from the Wall Street Journal also alleged that Musk takes full doses of ketamine at parties.
Musk has also tweeted his support of psychedelics and ketamine frequently in the past, with one tweet of his from last year reading: "I’ve talked to many more people who were helped by psychedelics & ketamine than SSRIs and amphetamines."
The SpaceX CEO already showed his appreciation for marijuana during an appearance on the Joe Rogan Podcast.

The Wall Street Journal not only alleged Musk was a user of ketamine but said several other high-profile members of the Silicon Valley troupe were drug users too.
Steve Jobs has been linked with LSD. Justin Zhu was fired from his marketing start-up Iterable in 2021 for microdosing LSD at work.
Musk previously made it clear Tesla employees were regularly subjected to drug testing.
He has in the past, however, stated his support for psychedelic substances, believing people "should be open to psychedelics".
