The billionaire Duke of Westminster — who owns more land than the Queen — is back in a relationship with his long-term love, it has been reported.

Hugh Grosvenor, 28, split with property and recruitment consultant Harriet Tomlinson, 27, in October last year.

But the couple, who are said to be ‘blissfully happy’ have now rekindled their romance, according to the Sunday People.

They met at £6,000-a-term day school Ellesmere College in Shropshire.

‘Hugh and Harriet have always had a bit of a on-off relationship. But things are most definitely back on now and they couldn’t be happier,’ a source said.

‘Hugh is absolutely besotted with her and it’s easy to see why. She’s a lovely girl.’

The 7th Duke of Westminster inherited a fortune of £9.3billion after his father died three years ago.

He now has ownership of the family seat Eaton Hall, as well as a property empire that includes 300 acres in Mayfair and Belgravia, as well as land in Cheshire, Oxford, Scotland and Spain.

The Duke is friends with the royals and was asked to be godfather to Prince William’s eldest son George.

At the time of their break-up one of their friends said: ‘They are no longer a couple. It’s sad, but Hugh is still young and it was too soon for him to settle down.’

Harriet, who grew up in her family’s semi-detached Victorian house in Chester, declined to comment on the relationship.

The daughter of a curtain factory boss, she studied teaching at the University of Wales, Cardiff before taking a job in recruitment.
