Drunk woman ‘chatted up cops before threatening to CUT their throats’

Helena Robertson, 42, made abusive comments to cops – and could face up to five years in the slammer if she offends again.

Ms Robertson appeared at North Chester Magistrates’ court yesterday via video link where prosecutors read out her long rap sheet.

The Runcorn lass committed a number of public order offences over a 10-year period and was warned by the judge that her next offence could see her locked-up behind bars.

Robertson’s nuisance behaviour included dropping her pants and exposing herself as well as urinating in the street, in an incident earlier this month.

She was also so abusive to police she had to be escorted away from a Derby pub on April 5, and even threatened to slit an officer’s throat, according to the Liverpool Echo.

She was also abusive to police after she had to be escorted away from The Derby pub in Widnes on April 5, even threatening to slit an officer’s throat while in custody.

The judge praised PC Andy Maskell for the “extremely thorough” 125-page background report on Robertson, who spoke during the hearing to confirm her name, date of birth, address and how to pronounce and spell her name.

Cheshire police reported earlier this month that Robertson had been caught on CCTV twice urinating in the street, on Church Street in Runcorn town centre and in an incident in which she threw away a sanitary towel.

She was also abusive to police after she had to be escorted away from The Derby pub in Widnes on April 5 when she threatened to slit an officer’s throat while in custody, according to police reports.

Police were called to the pub over reports of a drunken woman refusing to leave, verbally abusing other customers and quaffing her own booze, and on arrival found her lying in the foyer.
