This is the sickening moment a drunk England fan knocked his friend out with a single pub, causing him to lose seven teeth.

Robert Hurst, 24, got into an argument with his friend and punched him in the face shortly after watching England beat Sweden 2-0 at The White Hart pub in Farncombe, Surrey, on July 7, 2018.

Hurst was given a 10 month prison sentence, suspended for 18 months, after he pleaded guilty to a charge of grievous bodily harm.

Hurst, from Guildford, had been drinking beer all day before the fight last summer.

CCTV shows Hurst speaking to and then pushing his victim, also in his mid-twenties, outside the front of the pub just after 10.21pm.

Their girlfriends and multiple other people tried to separate the fighting friends.

However, Hurst eventually made his way back to his victim and knocked him to the ground with just one punch.

The victim was also pushed from behind, just before being dropped.

Hurst was led away after the punch, with people rushing to help the victim.

After a lot of pushing and shoving, Robert Hurst punched his friend in the face, sending him crashing to the floor

Hurst’s defence counsel Ian Wilkinson said that his client thought he was himself about to be punched.

Prosecutor Susannah Bramley told the court how the victim remained ‘on the floor for about three or four minutes obviously not moving’.

Replacing all seven of the knocked out teeth will cost around £7,000.

As part of his sentence, Hurst was ordered to pay £3,500 to his victim.

As well as his suspended sentence, Judge Jonathan Black ordered Hurst to undertake 250 hours of unpaid work in the next year.

Mr Wilkinson said that Hurst had been a ‘little loud and boisterous’ while celebrating the England victory, but the confrontation was ‘out of character’ and his client had apologised by text message on the same evening.

The court also heard how the two friends have seen each other since, even going for a drink together earlier this month after playing each other at football.

Multiple good character references were supplied to Judge Black, who also heard that Hurst had no previous convictions relating to violence and was remorseful for his actions.
