Donald Trump mystery: Woman in White House footage sparks frenzy – ‘Who is she?’

US President Donald Trump spent Friday at a White House ceremony honouring the NCAA champion LSU Tigers American football team. However, it was not the sports team that garnered headlines but the identity of a mysterious woman in a white dress. The identity of the mysterious blonde woman sparked a frenzy on social media, as Twitter users searched for her.

She made an appearance in a TikTok video posted by the Tigers which showed the players taking part in the ‘Get the Gat Challenge’ at the White House.

The viral challenge sees fans of singer Lil Elt’s song share images of themselves dancing to the tune.

In the video, the players danced in suits and ties when they were joined by the mysterious woman.

Her identity unleashed a wave of questions online about who the dancing woman really was and what she was doing at the White House.

Several people simply tweeted in response: “Who is that lady?”

Even a Washington Post White House Reporter tweeted: “Who is the woman dancing in the video?”

Another said: “Whose the woman dancing with LSU team that’s all over my feed?”

One user added: “Twitter melts down trying to figure out who the woman is in the LSU Tik Tok. 2020 is awesome.”

However, the woman’s daughter later confirmed her identity on Instagram as Gemi Bordelon, wife of former LSU Tiger offensive tackle Ben Bordelon.

The Bordelons have close ties to members of Louisiana’s congressional delegation and live in Lafourche Parish near Coach Orgeron’s hometown.

The solved mystery came as the LSU Tigers celebrated their national championship season with the US commander-in-chief.

“Got the greatest economy we ever had. We got the greatest military, we rebuilt it we took out those terrorists like your football team would have taken out those terrorists, right?

“We’re doing good.”

Donald Trump had earlier attended the championship winning game on Monday and was greeted warmly by the New Orleans crowd.

LSU quarterback Joe Burrow said: “I don’t care if you’re Republican, Democrat, don’t care about politics at all, that was an awesome experience for everybody.”
