Donald Trump has given a huge hint on whether he will run for US President in 2024 following mounting speculation in the past few weeks. His former political aides have previously said the 45th US President will run again but Mr Trump only teased the return when asked by GB News presenter Nigel Farage.

GB News presenter Nigel Farage asked Trump why he would think about “going back into hell again” which would mean re-entering mainstream politics.

Mr Trump responded: “If you love the country you have no choice.

“It’s not a question I love our country. I brought the country to a level it’s never seen before.”

Talking about the decisions he made as president earlier on in the pandemic, Trump said: “Then we had Covid come in and then I brought it back, came up with vaccines that you’re using, we’re all using, the world is using, saved tens of millions of people throughout the world in less than nine months.

“It was supposed to take 12 years… they were expecting it to take 12 years and everyone said it wasn’t going to work and they worked incredibly well.

“We’ve done an amazing job This is a wonderful, beautiful life, but I like that too because I’m helping people that’s why I did it.”

Mr Trump then indicated that he had possible intentions to try and run for office again in 2024, by saying: “I think you’ll be happy in the future too because that’ll be your next question.’”

Mr Farage responded: “Well I know you can’t answer that question because it would start the campaign clock ticking.”

To which Mr Trump not giving anything away replied: “That’s right.”

Donald Trump has previously implied that he has plans to run for office again in 2024.

Last week Trump’s personal lawyer and supporter Rudy Giuliani sat down with presenter Dan Wootton on GB News and he echoed a similar sentiment.

When asked about Trump making a comeback in the 2024 election Rudy Giuliani said: “Maybe I can help you this way if the election was held right now, right now today I have no doubt he’d run.

“I don’t know if he’s telling you that, but I’m telling you that. I would say that assuming that he feels up to it.”

Mr Giuliani concluded: “Right now he’s in tremendous health, assuming that the family is all ok with it, I would say that the odds are he will do it.”

“It’s not a hundred percent it is two years from now who knows what’s going to happen.”
