Dizzying footage shows brothers hiking second-tallest peak in the Alps

Mounting danger: Dizzying footage shows two brothers completing trek across the second-highest peak in the Italian Alps

  •  An adventurer caught amazing views as he climbed the steep ridges of the Alps
  •  Michele Peccoz, 21, a mountain resort worker shot the footage with his brother
  •  The two can be seen navigating the Monte Rosa Massif’s dizzying peaks in Italy

A daring adventurer has navigated knife-edge trails to capture breathtaking heights from the top of the Alps.

Michele Peccoz, a 21-year-old mountain resort worker regularly takes high-altitude treks in his spare time.

On July 31, Michele climbed part of the Monte Rosa Massif with brother Edoardo, 23, and filmed the dizzying view with a 360-degrees camera.

The two climbers from Gressoney Saint Jean in Italy ventured onwards and upwards into the Italian alps in an intrepid climb.

As they move along tightropes made from sheer rock faces the staggering panorama of the alps stretches around them.

Across a horizon of bright blue skies and immaculate white clouds Michele navigates the craggy terrain with ease, breaking into a jog on some of the less snowy trails.

Michele and Edoardo trekked across a portion of the Monte Rosa Massif, the second-highest peak in the Italian Alps

Using a 360-degree camera Michele’s climb appears even more hazardous as the fish-eye effect makes him appear even more isolated on a narrow peak jutting from the cloud layer

The Monte Rossa Massif is located in the eastern part of the Pennine Alps, located between Italy and Switzerland.

The mountain stands at 4,634m (15,203 ft) tall making it the second highest peak in the alps behind Mont Blanc which sits highest at 4,808m.

The Monte Rosa massif is popular for mountaineering, hiking, skiing and snowboarding.

Trekking the entire length of Monte Rossa can usually be completed by experienced hikers in around 10 days.
