Denver weather: Cold front moves across Colorado with a chance for snow tonight

This weekend won’t include any of those warmer-than-average, sunny fall days. Instead, a cold front is going to move across the state Thursday, bringing much colder temperatures and a chance for snow.

Thursday is going to be partly sunny with a high of just 46 degrees, the National Weather Service in Boulder said. The low will drop to 22 degrees, bringing a chance of snow and freezing drizzle between 9 p.m. tonight and 3 a.m. Friday. The chance for precipitation is 30% but little to no accumulation is expected.

Friday is expected to hit a high of 42 degrees and a low of 30 degrees, the NWS reports. Saturday will be a bit warmer with a high of 67 before dropping to a low of 20 degrees.

Saturday night is expected to see a chance of 60% of precipitation with rain before midnight before turning to snow in the early hours of Sunday.

Sunday’s high will be just 25 degrees with a chance of snow at 80% for most of the day, according to the National Weather Service. The low will be just 11 degrees Sunday.

Snow is forecast to continue through noon on Monday with a high of 24 and a low around 12 degrees.
