Denver’s high temperature on Wednesday hit a toasty 74 degrees, tying a record-high temp for March 2 in the city.
The previous record high of 74 degrees was set in 2009, according to the National Weather Service. Wednesday’s record-tying temp struck at 3:04 p.m. The normal high temperature value for the city on March 2 is 50 degrees.
Skies on Thursday over the city will be mostly sunny and the high temperature is forecast to hit 75 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. The record-high temperature in Denver on March 3 is 76 degrees set in 1921.
Sunrise in Denver on Thursday will be at 6:29 a.m., with sunset at 5:53 p.m., according to the weather service.
