Green farming in UK: Wild farm lets livestock roam free
Some environmentalists say the earth may only have 60 years left before the soil is damaged beyond repair.
Pesticides and intensive farming often harm the environment.
But a farm in southern England is taking a different approach. They call it “wilding”, effectively leaving the land to grow and livestock to roam free.

Thousands of Sudanese march toward defense ministry in Khartoum: witness
CAIRO (Reuters) – Thousands of Sudanese protesters marched toward the defense ministry in Khartoum on Sunday, demanding that the ruling military hand over power to civilians, as security forces fired shots in the air, a Reuters witness said.
The protest was the largest since a deadly security service raid on a protest camp in front of the defense ministry three weeks ago.
Brexit, knife crime, inequality inspire UK music
Anger about crime, housing shortages, the rise of the far right, economy and the environment have found a voice on stage.
The fractured political climate in the United Kingdom has given many of the nation’s musicians new inspiration.
Widening inequality, soaring levels of knife crime and Brexit were among the issues that performers tackled at this year’s Glastonbury music festival.
Al Jazeera’s Neave Barker takes a look at the influences behind some of the acts.
Getting connected and feeling safe with Lifelock
Dear John: I’ve been a LifeLock customer for several years and am generally satisfied with this service. However, every so often, they have technological “glitches” during which monitoring of transactions for certain accounts is disconnected. This has happened several times in the past.
In the past, I was notified by LifeLock of the disconnect and was able to quickly correct it. This time, I wasn’t notified until yesterday and could not correct the problem. I was told that it’s my responsibility to frequently check for severed connections.
Why should the onus be on the consumer to check for LifeLock’s technical issues? I think I deserve a partial refund for the time that the connection was lost. Am I being unreasonable, or is LifeLock? S.E.
Dear S.E.: I contacted LifeLock on your behalf, and the company has given you a six-month refund off your annual subscription and a 30 percent discount for one year.
That seems to have satisfied you.
White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham Brawls With North Korean Guards
New White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham today showed she will fight for freedom of the press, getting into a brawl with North Korean security guards.
Throwing the publicist’s adage that you should not become the story to the winds, Grisham dove into action after North Korean guards attempted to bar the White House press pool representatives from entering the room at the Freedom House at the DMZ where President Donald Trump was meeting with North Korean Chairman Kim Jong-un, according to The Guardian. White House and foreign correspondents tweeted about the incident as well.
“New WH Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham got into a scuffle with the North Koreans to move members of the WH press pool into position to cover Trump and Kim, I’m told,” CNN’s Jim Acosta tweeted. “Grisham was a bit bruised. Source called it ‘an all out brawl.’” Jennifer Jacobs of Bloomberg had a picture to share of the scuffle, saying there were “body blows” in the fight.
Grisham apparently prevailed, as she opened a path for US reporters. Score: Grisham 1, North Korean guards 0.
President Donald Trump Tweetstorm – The Sunday Edition
President Donald Trump stepped across the stone curb separating South Korea from North Korea today. By doing so, he became the first sitting US president to visit the Hermit Kingdom.
As anticipated, the meeting was more than a grip-and-grin. The two sides agreed to resume talks toward denuclearization of North Korea. The last attempt in February fell apart and ended without progress.
President Trump is now on his way home, so tweets may be later than usual. We’ll keep you posted.
The tweetstorm so far:
Translation:
The rok-US summit leader, who received a briefing at the Oulette Post and watched north Korea, was briefed. Owlett Post was named in honor of the sacrifice of Korean War veteran Joseph O’Hallett, a front-line post just 25 metres from the military demarcation line.
Daniel Craig Returns To Set For New James Bond Film After Injury
The name is Craig. Daniel Craig. The 51-year-old actor has returned to the set of his new James Bond film after rehab for an injury to his ankle ligaments.
Craig underwent surgery after falling during filming in Jamaica in May. The film continued production during Craig’s two-week rehabilitation and is still set for an April 2020 release, according to the official James Bond Twitter account, which posted photos and a video of the location shoot (you can see them below). They included Craig with members of the Household Cavalry and his Bond driving Aston Martin V8 Volante, the same model driven by Timothy Dalton’s Bond in the 1987 film The Living Daylights.
The new film, simply known as Bond 25 until a more formal title is revealed, was shooting in Westminster, London on Sunday. Craig appeared in a grey fitted suit and was seen driving an Aston Martin V8 Volante, which was last seen in Timothy Dalton’s 1987 Bond film The Living Daylights.
The new film will see Bond return to action from a tranquil retirement life in Jamaica. That’s interrupted when US agent Felix shows up and asks for help to rescue a kidnapped scientist. Rami Malek plays the villain in the film.
The film will be Craig’s fifth as James Bond and will mark his final appearance in the franchise.
