Dad warned of ‘demons’ before ‘killing two sons and abducting young daughters’
A dad arrested on suspicion of murdering his sons and kidnapping his daughters warned people should "be nice to the demons" just weeks before the tragedy.
Donald Ray Jackson, 40, is believed to have killed his sons, 14-year-old Logan and Austin, 11, before abducting their sisters Nora, seven, and Aven, three, from Leavenworth, Kansas.
Undersheriff Jim Sherley said that murder charges will be filed against Jackson later today.
The girls were found alive by police near Erick, Oklahoma on Saturday. According to authorities, it's not yet known when the alleged murders and abduction took place.
Just last month Jackson posted a series of chilling messages on his Facebook page.
"Be nice to the demons, they make decent pets," he wrote on September 13.
One day before that, he posted: "You can be as deceptive as you want, but you can not hide the nature of an animal."
On September 10 he said: "When you have to lie to the mother's body to carry your seed, do not expect the abomination to succeed."
According to Leavenworth County Court records, Jackson filed for divorce from his wife, Tara, on August 20, 2019.

Their next hearing was scheduled for November 12, 2020. Jackson began representing himself on September 4, 2020.
Neighbors said the couple lived separately, KCTV5 reports. They said the two boys lived with Jackson at the rural Leavenworth County home.
The two girls who were abducted, they said, lived with their mother in Lansing, Kansing.
But they said Jackson visited his wife and the girls often. The couple also had a baby, they added, who is approximately eight months old.

Officers were called to the home on Saturday afternoon where they found two boys dead and their sisters missing.
A search was launched across multiple states and an amber alert for the two girls was issued across Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas, writes The Sun.
Jackson's vehicle was found by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol around 500 miles from the Leavenworth home where the girls went missing. The two girls were reportedly inside the vehicle.
The suspect was arrested on suspicion of murder.
Leavenworth County Undersheriff Jim Sherley said law enforcement “had (prior) dealings” with Jackson.
