Cyber security expert issues chilling warning to glamorous OnlyFans stars

OnlyFans models have been given a chilling warning as hackers are able to obtain their sensitive information to use against them, according to an online expert.

Zach Featherstone of Gold Coast Internet Removals in Australia said believes glamorous creators are getting 'doxxed' because they haven't taken the correct precautions when it comes to online privacy.

Doxxing occurs when someone's personal information is stolen and then used to harass, threaten or seek revenge on the victim.

In the cases involving the stars of OnlyFans, it is believed that hackers have been extorting money from their victims under the threat that they will release personal information.

Featherstone said: "If you live on the Gold Coast and you are taking a picture from your balcony facing Surfers Paradise beach, it is really easy to identify where you live and people can start to stalk, dox or harass you.

"Don't give away your location and be proactive about identifiable landmarks."

Featherstone specialises in removing illegal content from the internet, and he has 10 clients who all work as content creators.

Last year, hundreds of OnlyFans content creators had their content leaked on Google Drive after it was posted to a hacking forum.

The online file containing the private videos and images from hundreds of accounts, from celebrities' pages to sex workers.

OnlyFans is a website that allows content creators to earn money by sharing images, videos, and live streams with fans who pay to subscribe to their content and many creators include a warning in their bio that they will prosecute people who leak their content.

Celebrities such as former EastEnders babe Danniella Westbrook, Lauren Harries and Love Island's Katie Salmon are among the stars who sell racy snaps and videos on OnlyFans.
