Croydon stabbing – Man stabbed to death and two wounded on same street where teenager was killed four weeks ago

A MAN has been fatally stabbed in London and two are in hospital after a knife brawl weeks after a teen was murdered on the same street.

Shocked neighbours on Alpha Road in Croydon say cops ran from their vehicles with first aid kits and a defibrillator to try and save the man.

The road was cordoned off and a large crime scene has been established to investigate the death during one of two vicious knife brawls on Tuesday night – the other involved a 10-strong group in Milton Keynes.

A spokesman for the Met Police said that officers were called at approximately 9.10pm on Tuesday, March 30, to reports of a stabbing on Alpha Road in Croydon.

Officers attended along with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service.

But the knifed man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Enquiries are ongoing to trace his next of kin, the Met Police adds.

Two men self-presented at a south London hospital with stab injuries.

No further details have been released about their wounds, but cops say they are believed to be connected to the same fatal incident.

"We await an update on their conditions," the force added.

The police said: "We await an update on their condition. A crime scene remains in place and enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.

"At this early stage, there have been no arrests."

Tuesday's Croydon stab victim's death comes days after a devastated mum described her family as "broken" after her "beautiful" son was stabbed to death at home.

Tai Jordan O'Donnell, 19, was discovered in Alpha Road with knife wounds to his legs in Croydon on March 3 and was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.

"We are completely broken without him and he has left a devastating void in mine and our whole family’s lives.
