An Airbnb host who let a room to a young couple returned to find it completely trashed.

Chris Sayegh rented the room in his home in Olathe, Kansas to Rebecca Singh, 29, and Joseph Crane, 23 for a two-day stay.

But in that 48 hours the couple went on an alleged drugs binge that left blood splattered over the bed, clothes and makeup strewn across every possible surface and two knives sticking out of a wall.

Chris said the damage cost thousands of dollars to clean up: ”It was bad. I mean, I had a manic episode and I was basically cleaning really bad. Well, really good actually," he told WJHG news.

Before starting his clean-up operation Chris called local police, who confiscated the drugs paraphernalia left behind.

That led to the arrests of Crane and Singh, who were charged with felony possession of meth and cocaine. Their bond was set to body"

Chris says he contacted Airbnb who had promised to put things right.

“The reported behaviour has no place on Airbnb,” the company said in a statement. “We’ve removed the booking guest from our community and are in communication with the host to initiate a claim through Airbnb’s body">
