Cleveland shooting: 18 gunned down in fight between ‘biker gangs’

A man has been shot dead after a fight broke out between bikers attending a party in Cleveland, Ohio.

Cleveland Police now say at least 18 people were shot and one man was killed after a fight broke out between rival motorcycle clubs, according to local reports.

The incident took place on E 93rd St. around 11. 30pm on Saturday night and the victim has not yet been named.

Cleveland.com report "The deadly shooting happened near the intersection of East 93rd Street and Way Avenue, Cleveland police spokeswoman Sgt. Jennifer Ciaccia said about 12.30am, Sunday.

"The preliminary investigation revealed the shooting involved two rival groups".

In an update News5 Cleveland report a fight broke out after someone was chucked out of a party.

Multiple shots were then fired, with an EMS spokesperson later confirming a 48-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other victims of the shooting have been taken to local hospitals.

A 53-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman were said to have been taken to University Hospital in critical condition.

A 50-year-old woman and 38-year-old man were also transported to Metro Hospital in serious conditions. A 59-year-old woman was transported to Metro Hospital in stable condition.

Officials said a 30-year-old woman refused to be transported.
