CLAP for Carers will return tonight to mark a big celebration for the NHS.
The last clap took place on May 28, after the woman who came up with the idea claimed the show of gratitude risked being politicised.

When are we next clapping for our NHS carers?
The next Clap for Carers will be tonight as a one-off event to mark the 72nd birthday of the NHS.
Public buildings will be lit up in blue, including the Royal Albert Hall, Blackpool Tower, the Shard and the Wembley Arch.
Brits have also been encouraged to put a light in their windows the night before the anniversary to remember all those who lost their lives to coronavirus.
Britons took to their doorsteps, balconies and front gardens every Thursday for ten weeks until May 28 to celebrate carers across the UK.
What time is the NHS clap?
People will be asked to clap at 5pm today.
This is a change to the original Thursday night clap introduced by Dutch-born Londoner Annemarie Plas, which happened at 8pm.
Why are we clapping for our NHS carers?
People are being asked to clap for the NHS as a sign of gratitude toward all the healthcare workers who have worked during the coronavirus pandemic.
They are being asked to go outside and clap to say thank you to all the NHS staff for their tireless dedication to keeping the country safe.
Public buildings, including the Royal Albert Hall, Blackpool Tower, the Shard and the Wembley Arch will also be lit up in blue to mark the occasion.
