Britain's “dullest man” has rubbished claims he is boring despite being a fan of roundabouts and car parks.

Kevin Beresford, who was named Anorak of the Year by the Dull Men’s Club, is president of the UK Roundabout Appreciation Society and founder of the Car Park Appreciation Society.

The 70-year-old also wrote a book called Roundabouts of Great Britain and made a calendar on car parks.

Although he admits his three ex-wives found him dull – though “not in the bedroom” – and his four sons are embarrassed by his hobbies, he says he’s “full of surprises”.

Kevin insisted: “I don’t think I’m dull. It’s my hobbies that are dull. I’m actually full of surprises.

"I’m a fan of trance music and went clubbing last weekend.”

He runs a print shop and rose to fame with a calendar of benches in his hometown Redditch, Worcs, and also one about Manchester City footballer Jack Grealish’s calves.

Other members of the Dull Men’s Club include a man who has collected 20,000 milk bottles.

Kevin added: “It’s amazing how charismatic we are when we all get together.

“And I wear my Britain’s dullest man title as a badge of honour.”
