Brit dies as he plummets onto rocks after paragliding 6,000ft in tourist hotspot
A British man smashed into rocks before falling to his death in a tragic paragliding accident at one of Europe’s most popular adventure spots.
Helpless onlookers watched on as Frank Lally saw his single jump at Turkey’s Babadag Mountain range turn to tragedy.
The 62-year-old hurtled into a rocky area after he launched from a common spot in the Oludeniz area, over 6,000 feet above sea level.

Frantic witnesses hurriedly called the emergency services before the Gendarmerie Search and Rescue Battalion Command and the National Medical Rescue Team arrived at the scene.
Frank was raced to Fethiye State Hospital in an ambulance after brave rescuers loaded him onto a stretcher.
The heroic medics carefully navigated the tricky terrain but sadly could not save the Brit, who passed away from his injuries.
Turkish investigators are set to probe the fatal incident in an attempt to determine how it unfolded, with details remaining unclear.

Tourists from all over the world flock to Babadag Mountain to paraglide as it often has good conditions and is known for its natural beauty.
November will mark the end of the tourist season with temperatures set to plummet.
The area is known as one of the highest commercial paragliding sites around and hundreds of thousands of tourists fly to the area every year.
It is even classified by the World Heritage Foundation as one of the world’s most important landscapes.
