Police were called to the scene of a car park on Bradshaw Street in Chruch at around 7.50am this morning. 

Officers are currently undertaking inquiries and the death is currently unexplained. 

Lancashire Constabulary said: “We were called shortly before 9am this morning (July 26) to reports that a body had been found inside the back of a car in a car park on Bradshaw Street in Church.

“The body remains in situ at this time whilst officers undertake their inquiries.

“The body has not yet been identified but is believed to be a woman.”
