They have become third biggest winners ever from the UK.

Tonight’s National Lottery EuroMillions numbers are: 27,46,42,25, 39 and the Lucky Stars are 11,12.

Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, confirmed that a UK ticket holder had won the jackpot.

He said: “One very lucky ticket-holder has scooped tonight’s entire £123M EuroMillions jackpot, catapulting them right up into third place of the biggest-ever National Lottery wins in the UK.

Players all across the country are urged to check their tickets to see if they are The National Lottery’s latest mega jackpot winner.

“This year has been truly incredible for UK EuroMillions players – with four jackpot winners so far on these shores.

“Patrick and Frances Connolly from Northern Ireland won the £114.9M EuroMillions jackpot in the draw on New Year’s Day, Ade Goodchild banked £71M in March and an anonymous ticket-holder bagged £35.2M in April.

“By buying a ticket for EuroMillions or any other National Lottery game, every player is helping to raise money for Good Causes.

“On average, around £30M is raised every week for projects across the UK, both big and small, including funding everything from local community projects to supporting the nation’s athletes.”

Colin and Chris Weir, from Largs, North Ayrshire, Scotland, became Europe’s biggest lottery winners in July 2011, when they picked up £161million.
