Melissa became an overnight celebrity after winning £4million on the Blue Scratchcard from the National Lottery.

But she revealed last week she had been suffering from crushing chest pains.

Her fiancee, Rachel Nason, confirmed the sad news that she had died suddenly on Saturday.

Her family confirmed her funeral will be a fitting tribute to Melissa.

The former Hull taxi driver hit back at trolls only last week who had wished her dead following health complications.

She said she had suffered from “all the classic symptoms of a heart attack”.

She added: “People saying it is a shame I’m not dead.

“Well, I’ve got a message to you people, there’s nothing actually wrong with this ticker or my lungs, all been checked out so you’ve got me for quite a while yet so I’m sure that will make you all happy.”
