About 60 firefighters are now fighting to contain the inferno at a block of flats in Packington Square in Islington. 

London Fire Brigade confirmed a flat on the fourth floor was ablaze. 

Crews from Shoreditch, Euston, Holloway and Whitechapel raced to the flat at about 10.23pm on Saturday. 

The cause of the blaze is not known at this time.
