The body of a man has been recovered from a lake in Hyde Park in what the police are describing as an unexplained death.

Officers attended the central London park at 5.43am today after it was reported that there was a body in The Serpentine lake.

The Met and London Ambulance Service pulled the body from the water and a cordon is in place, My London reports. More to follow.
