A BODY has been found in the search for a missing Peterhead teen.

Bryce Grant, 16, was last seen in the River Ugie, Aberdeenshire, about 5pm yesterday.

Police said the body of a 16-year-old male was recovered from the River Ugie, Aberdeenshire, around 12.20pm today.

The family of Bryce Grant, known as Forbes, have been made aware.

Formal identification is yet to take place and enquiries are ongoing.

Cops were searching for the teen this morning using thermal imaging equipment.

Officers urged the public to stay away from the Inverugie area of the town while they search for Bryce.

Stuart Campbell was last seen at 6:45pm on Tuesday March 22 as he vanished from the capital.
