Bloke caught with weird fish sex image on his phone insists it’s NOT porn

Under a new law, set to take effect next month, people in the UK wishing to watch any kind of porn online will need to prove their age beforehand.

Proof of age will be required in the form of either a driving licence or a new age verification card.

Stuart Lawley, CEO of AVSecure, says: “The BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) will look at the methods age verification systems use to verify people are 18, so for instance, a name and address wouldn’t be enough – but a scan of a driving licence or a credit card and CVV number would be OK.”

Those looking to view porn will be directed to a page which will ask them to fill in their details.

Once users have proved their age once they will be given “tokens” that will be stored in internet browsers.

Those allow users to log in to sites.

The Daily Star Online currently understands that the infrastructure required to enforce this law is not yet ready for use.
