Belleville woman charged with historic sexual assaults, exploitation of 2 minors

A Belleville woman is facing several sex-related offences in relation to two alleged historical sexual assaults.

Belleville police began a sexual assault investigation after a victim came forward in June 2018 alleging assaults that occurred between 2012 and 2013.

As a result of a lengthy investigation, police identified two victims, who claim they were assaulted by 48-year-old Sandra Forcier of Belleville.

She had been charged with two counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual exploitation of a youth under the age of 18 and one count of sexual interference.

Police say Forcier was released on bail with several conditions and she will appear in a Belleville court to answer to her charges in February.

Police are asking anyone with information about the investigation to contact Det.-Sgt. Pat Kellar at 613-966-0882 ext. 2328 or [email protected]
