At least 2 dead as powerful 6.6-magnitude earthquake hits Philippines

At least two people including a teenage schoolboy have died after a powerful 6.6-magnitude earthquake hit the Philippines.

The boy, aged 15, and another 66-year-old man died after the deadly tremor struck the southern part of the country, leaving almost 50 people hurt.

Terrified residents fled their homes as buildings shook during the quake, amid fears of after shocks.
