Over 25,000 Amazon reviewers give the Remington Damage Protection Hair Dryer five out of five stars, and many say that after using it, their hair feels smoother than it did before.

“Not only did it dry our hair quickly, but it was quieter than our previous unit, has more settings, and the filter can be cleaned,” one reviewer wrote. “But this is what truly impressed us: Our hair is smoother and shinier after using this dryer!”

The dryer’s hair-smoothing abilities are no joke. It boasts what the brand calls “Micro-Conditioner Technology,” which means it has a specially designed grill that’s infused with microscopic conditioners that disperse into the dryer’s air flow.
