Amazon pulls ‘Daddy’s Little Sl*t’ t-shirt aimed at girls aged 2-6 after outcry
A t-shirt with the slogan “Daddy’s Little Slut” aimed at girls “aged 2-6” has been removed from Amazon’s website after a social media outcry.
The t-shirt, produced by a company called OnlyBabyCare, first went on sale back in June but the backlash only went viral after a screengrab of the item was posted on Twitter by Yashar Ali, who has nearly 500,000 followers.
The description of the shirt says it’s suitable for numerous wholesome activities including, perhaps most unexpectedly, “baptisms.”

Amazon slammed for vile PAEDO-FRIENDLY baby clothes: ‘Daddy’s little f*** toy’
Dozens of people responded, expressing how shocked they were.
Twitter user Kathy Copland, for example, said: “If I ever saw a child wearing this t-shirt, I'd call the police”.
Susan Russell agreed, tweeting: “I would never allow my children and grandchildren to wear this it's disgusting. I'm not a [prude] at all, it should be banned.”
Eight hours after the backlash began, the offending item was removed from Amazon’s site, although the same design is still offer in adult sizes.

Amazon has made the same sort of mistake in the past. A black cotton baby-grow bearing the slogan “Daddy’s Little F*** Toy” was on sale on the site until it came to the attention of child protection campaigners in March. Alongside it was a similar garment printed with the words: “I just look illegal.”

Amazon kids toys 'contain high levels of chemical linked to male infertility'
At the time, Professor Marci Hamilton of Philadelphia-based anti-abuse think tank Child USA said that it's outrageous that baby clothing with this language appears anywhere on the web, let alone Amazon.
“They should have much better controls over products for children generally.“It is shocking, and I’m surprised it is there in the first place.
“I had assumed that Amazon had to clear products before they are put online.
“It clearly should have been ringing alarm bells – but it went online.”
